An exclusive duvet with a special limited edition unique corner band, manufactured in honor of the 100-year-old company formation, with a numbered diploma, based on a patent filed by Gerd Billerbeck in Switzerland in 1962 and registered under the number CH405639A.
Exclusive limited edition "ELBERFELD 1921" hydrophilic hydrophobic dublé flakes from Billerbeck. The warm-holding capacity of the duvet is ensured by the 90% flake charge, while the mist treatment is provided by the layer of bamboo-viscose stapled thread coat of the duvet. The cover material of the duvet is moonbeam color, "flaky", 100% cotton fabric, the legendary Billerbeck quality.
In addition to meeting the strictest hygiene requirements, the double-layer Elberfeld 1921 duvet has excellent thermal insulation, i.e. a warm-holding and active humidity treatment capability.
The sleep-side bamboo viscose fiber charge is highly absorbent and has moisture transfer capability, while the pen/flake charge on the opposite side has an extremely effective thermal insulation, warm-holding, yet moisture-repellent properties. Thanks to this, it successfully eliminates the formation of vapor envelopes, which are typical of duvets with a traditional feather/flakes charge, as they cannot eliminate evaporations during sleep on their own. The duvet thus formed easily meets hygiene requirements. It is able to absorb and bind skin evaporations, which contain partially toxic substances.
The outer side of the Elberfeld duvet is 90% loaded with 1st class white goose flakes. Flakes obtained from geese are one of the most valuable flakes filling material. The higher the flakes in the products, the warmer, softer, lighter and more valuable the products. Flakes/feathers have a polluting effect due to the naturally present fat layer on their surface, i.e. they are highly hydrophobic.
