The QMED seat support swivel cushion aims to protect the spine and hip joints during transfers, thanks to its 360° rotating mechanism. The high-quality memory foam impregnated with bamboo charcoal and the built-in cooling gel permanently relieve pressure points caused by sitting, making it an ideal choice for long-term sitting.

For elderly people or people with limited mobility, changing positions often causes pain or places increased strain on the spine and hip joints. The QMED swivel cushion was developed to alleviate these problems. This medical aid product prevents unnecessary twisting of the torso, as the cushion rotates under the user. This makes getting in and out of a chair, wheelchair or car safe and comfortable.

With its 39 cm diameter and discreet 5 cm height, it fits perfectly on most seating surfaces, be it an office chair, a lounge chair or a vehicle seat. The non-slip bottom ensures that the cushion remains stable in place even during rotation, maintaining the user's safety.

Based on our experience in the mattress industry, proper pressure distribution and temperature control are of paramount importance during prolonged sitting or working. The special technology used in QMED's product combines the benefits of pressure-relieving memory foam with modern cooling and hygiene.

Dense and soft memory foam: The 40 kg/m³ density foam layer provides optimal relief, relieves pressure points and reduces the risk of numbness and pressure sores (decubitus).
Bamboo-charcoal technology: Bamboo-charcoal particles embedded in the memory foam help neutralize unpleasant odors and contribute to keeping the seating surface dry, improving hygiene.
Cooling gel insert: The gel integrated into the top layer of the cushion modulates body temperature, ensuring a continuous, pleasant feeling of heat, which increases the time of sitting comfort.

The product is more important parameters

The pillow is extremely durable and has a maximum load capacity of 120 kg. When cleaning it, it is important to know that the memory foam core cannot be washed or exposed to water, but the outer, breathable polyester cover with a zipper is removable. It can be cleaned in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C, thus maintaining hygiene.
